I decided to team up with my ambient alias 'Disenthrall' for the first release of 2021. 'Dream Catchers' comes from my continuous research, admiration and connection with Native American cultures, earthly sounds combined with more modern synths, aiming to transport you to a far but yet very accessible culture.

“Given the challenging times I wanted to lose myself again in the production of more positive music, which worked on me first of all, calming my spirit (and dreams!). For the first time I dabbled in playing different instruments, searching for the perfect frequencies with curiosity and fun. I used real and virtual emulations, a Roland 303, a Prophet6 Sequential, Native Instruments Plug-ins, all played with a ROLI Seaboard 5D and of course, field recordings of natural sounds, from rivers to birds and fire.

As you may know, a Dreamcatcher is a kind of talisman used by Native American cultures to protect people from nightmares and bad dreams. The bad dreams caught in the web get destroyed when the sunlight of morning hits the dreamcatcher, while the good dreams filter down and gently reach the sleeping person below. Well, I hope this music can ease you days... and nights ✨🤗
